ESAC Water

ESAC_Water is the division responsible for advancing sustainable water resource management across infrastructure, policy, and operational systems. It provides technical and regulatory solutions that ensure water efficiency, resilience, and environmental integrity across sectors, including urban development, agriculture, utilities, and industrial operations. The division works with clients to assess water use and quality, design reuse and conservation strategies, guide desalination planning, and support integrated watershed and aquifer management. Whether addressing water stress, compliance, or decarbonization of water infrastructure, ESAC_Water delivers integrated, measurable, and climatealigned outcomes in line with SDG 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Core Functions

Measuring water use across operations and supply chains, and identifying high-impact reduction opportunities.
Designing programs and retrofits to reduce water consumption in buildings, cities, agriculture, and industry.
Planning and optimizing the reuse of treated wastewater, including decentralized greywater recycling systems.
Flood Risk, Stormwater & Nature-Based Water Solutions: Using NbS and adaptive infrastructure to manage flood risk, increase recharge, and improve urban water resilience.
Supporting design and regulation of energy-efficient, lowimpact desalination plants with brine disposal planning.
Developing integrated watershed, river basin, and groundwater plans that ensure long-term water supply and ecological health. Water Quality Monitori
Implementing real-time monitoring frameworks and regulatory alignment to ensure potable, agricultural, and industrial water safety.

Sub-Units

To support water security and circularity at all scales, ESAC_Water is structured into five functional sub-units:

01

Water Auditing & Footprint Analysis

Measures water consumption and identifies reduction hotspots

02

Reuse & Conservation Planning

Develops strategies for water reuse and operational efficiency

03

Desalination & Alternative Sources

Provides advisory on desalination, brackish water use, and innovation

04

Watershed & Aquifer Management

Designs regional water balance models and recharge programs

05

Water Quality & Risk Monitoring

Supports monitoring, standard setting, and pollutant mitigation
